Employee of the Month

Christopher Bean, Families’ First employee, has been named employee of the month for April 2010.  Chris went the extra mile when the recent flooding occurred in the Sumner County area when, on his day off, he went by the office and as water was rising around him worked fast and hard to get the electrical equipment off the floor.  Chris states that when he arrived at the office the water was ankle deep, but upon leaving the office it had dangerously risen to his waist.  This willingness to overcome obstacles enables Chris to help our Families First clients overcome barriers such as limited English, limited job availability, and lack of education.  His efforts impact entire families, not just individuals, by helping them become self sufficient.  For this we proudly recognize Chris as the employee of the month.  Way to go Chris!

Supported Employment WORKS!

Prospect, Inc. congratulates Stanley H. as the 2009 SONIC Employee of the Year.  Stanley has participated in several Prospect programs since the 1980s.  He has enjoyed many of the opportunities the Day and Residential Services provide for 30 years.  Prospect Supported Employment provided Stanley the opportunity to apply for a part-time crew position at SONIC in 2004.  Stanley was hired, and with his job coach has been a valuable crew member for over 5 years. 

On December 1, Stanley received the recognition of SONIC Employee of the Year.  His crew members surprised him with a special celebration.  Prospect Supported Employment provided Stanley the opportunity. Stanley brought his SMILE, enthusiasm and commitment to work every day.  This winning combination helped Stanley achieve this special honor.  Great JOB, Stanley!
