The Family Support grant program is for families who have a family member with a severe disability living at home.  This program is available from birth to senior adulthood and is not income based.  The intent of the program is to provide financial assistance to enable the individual with the disability to remain at home in his/her community.

Approved Financial Services examples:

• Respite
• Home Modification
• Special Needs Equipment
• Home Maker- Personal Assistant
• Therapy, Counseling
• Transportation
• Health Related Expenses
• Camp/ Recreation

This grant program is offered in Wilson, Smith, and Dekalb Counties.
